Jayleigh's hair issues

We were sitting by Jayleigh tonight and we were playing with her hair. We had to take some pictures of her wild hair. So here they are.

When she has her eyes open they are always so wide open just like this.

We finally got a picture of her smiling. I LOVE IT!!! She was playing and talking with her daddy.

Thanks Grandma Shelly for the PJs. She can finally fit into them. I don't know if I am happy or sad about that! She is growing too fast.

ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!

Well I just thought that I would let you all know (for those of you I haven't already called on the phone, which is pretty much everybody that looks at this blog. But I'm so excited!) I finally passed my insurance test today. FINALLY after about a year of trying. I'm so glad to have this obstacle behind me! Here is the proof!

I also thought that I would post some pictures of Jayleigh of course. Here is Jayleigh hanging out with dad. They were alone for the first time this morning while I traveled to St. George to take my test. Landon did great and get this HE EVEN CHANGED A DIAPER! (Just a wet one though, but hey at least he did it!)

Anybody have any ideas to tame that wild hair of hers? This picture was taken just seconds before a big melt down because I decided to wash her hair.

Just a little thanks

Well we had another eventful weekend. Jayleigh and I went to Manti to visit some more family and Landon went to his grandmas in Antimony. Poor Jayleigh now is a little sick with lots of congestion and is getting a cough. We will be making a visit to the Dr tomorrow. It was nice to see everybody again. Also this weekend my cousin Angie was coming through town from Vegas. Her mom, my aunt Kathy is the most talented women in world and made Jayleigh's blessing dress and a bunch of other blankets for us that Angie dropped off on her way back home. Kathy is so nice and and thoughtful and I am so lucky that she is my aunt and that Jayleigh gets to have her for her great aunt. Here is Candalyn and Drew. We are so excited for their new little bundle of joy in September!! Can't wait! ( I am hoping they have a girl. Especially for Candalyn's parents that have 6 grandsons!)

Time Flies When Your Having Fun!

HOLY COW!!! I can't believe that Jayleigh is already a month old today! That is crazy to me. Now I'm dreading the day that I have to go back to work two weeks from Monday. :( I am already super sad about that, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Anyway, here are some pictures from our last couple of weeks. The first one I will explain just a little. When Landon and I were up to Salt Lake with my family for the Christmas holiday we made Jayleigh a bear at Build a Bear Workshop. I'm gonna take a picture of her with it every month so that we can see how she is growing. She is already getting so big. She will smile at you at you already when you talk to her and she tries so hard to talk. She is such a joy and blessing and I'm so happy that she is a part of our family. The other pictures are just first meetings with Jayleigh and some more of her family members. We were able to go up to Tooele to see Cashelle, AJ and the kids. It was so much fun and I can't wait to see them again over the Easter Break!

Jayleigh with Great Grandma Kjar. Here is 4 Generations. We took her to meet Great Grandma Duncan too but she had a cold and didn't want to hold her and so we didn't get a picture. We will next time we go up there though.

Jayleigh's First Offical Day Out

Well on Sunday we decided to take Jayleigh on her first outing. We traveled to Antimony and visited Landon's Grandma Twitchell. Landon's family drove down from Elsinore to meet us there. It was way nice to get out of the house for a little while! Jayleigh did so good on the car ride. She slept the whole there and the whole way home. Here are a couple of pictures of our outing.

We had a lot of fun and it was way nice to be able to see everyone and to introduce Jayleigh to her great grandma.

2 Weeks Old Already!!!

Here are some more pictures of little Jayleigh. I can't believe that she is already two weeks old! She is already growing so much. We are having so much fun having her around.

We put her in her swing today and she really enjoyed it for the first 20 min until Mom thought her hands were cold and tried to cover them up and startled her and scared her to death!

She always has to have her hands up by her face, all the time. She is so funny about that. If we try to cover her hands up she gets really upset.
