Believe it

I was a little bit behind on my blog updated so I have updated!  I'm very proud of myself.  Not a whole lot is going on right now so there is much here but I'm pretty much updated now!! I still need to update about the Brigham City Temple open house that was an awesome experience and Jayleigh was so excited to go in the temple.  That will be coming shortly.  I just need to keep it up from now on!

Thanksgiving in California

This past weekend for Thanksgiving, my mom and dad were nice enough to let us ride down to California with them to see Cashelle and AJ.  It was so much fun and I'm so happy that we were able to go.  We got down there on Tuesday night late and stayed until Saturday night. On Wednesday we went grocery shopping and made some apple and pumpkin pie for our thanksgiving feast for the next day. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, everything was so good! Cashelle was so cute and got some paper bags and made the kids some Indian vests and some headbands.  Jayleigh loved it and they looked so cute! On Thursday night we went to the movie "The Rise of the Guardians." It was a pretty good movie and the kids loved it!  After the movie Cashelle, my mom and I went shopping at Target.  We didn't really have to get anything specific so we went just for the fun of it.  Friday we relaxed most of the day and it was nice to just sit and visit with everyone.  On Saturday we went down to Coronado Beach.  It was absolutely beautiful and Jayleigh had so much fun playing in the sand and the water.  She fell down in the water and got completely soaked.  We then went for a little walk and the poor girl by the end couldn't even move her legs anymore.  She was struggling to even walk without her legs spread clear apart.  She got a pretty good rash on her leg from wet sandy pants rubbing on her leg.  Poor little girl I felt so bad for her.  After lunch AJ was nice enough to carry her on his shoulders back to the car.  Through out the weekend Cashelle and I worked on some cute stocking holders to put on our mantels to hang our stockings off of.  They turned out so cute!  A lot of credit definitely goes to AJ for cutting our wood and Landon for helping us drill holes and putting them together.  I wish that we lived closer to them so we could see them more often and do crafty things together all the time. I'm so happy that we got to go though and spend some much time with them.  I love all them so much!

Michigan

In September my office sent me to Michigan to attend some training for one of our companies that we write business with.  I went with another girl from another office and we had so much fun!  We left on September 17th and came back on the 20th.  When we landed in Lansing we saw Jordyn Weiber at the airport!  I was pretty excited about it and took some pictures of her at the airport trying not to let her see me.  After we left I was pretty bummed that I didn't go up and talk to her.  Well as luck would have it, she was our surprise guest at our conference the next day.  I got to take a picture with her and have her sign some pictures and a book I bought about her.  It was a pretty cool experience and I'm so happy I got to go!

Happy Halloween

We went to the pumpkin patch this year a little early to get our pumpkins.  It turned out great though because we got first pick and got some pretty good pumpkins! We carved pumpkins the Monday before Halloween and they turned out awesome!  I found a template for Kenny Chesney.  When I carved it before I put a candle in it I was pretty disappointed because it didn't look very good I didn't think.  When we took it outside and put a candle in it though, it looked so cool!  Landon did Mickey Mouse and then we did a Hello Kitty one for Jayleigh.  Lyndsay, Dusten, and Logan also carved pumpkins with us.  It is a fun tradition that I hope we keep up for a long time!

Jayleigh's Halloween costume this year was pretty easy.  At first she decided she wanted to be Minnie Mouse.  We found her a costume and we tried it on and she absolutely hated it!  So we got rid of that one and she decided she wanted to be Jessie again like she was last year.  We only went trick or treating to a few house but she got plenty of candy!  Next year will be interesting to see what she decides on!

Pre-School!

Jayleigh got to start pre-school this year!  She was so excited.  She is going to Debbie Monsen's pre-school 2 days a week for an hour.  She has so much fun and has learned a lot.  She also gets to go with her friends from daycare so she thinks that is pretty neat!  I can't believe my little girls is so big already!  It makes me sad but I'm so excited for her at the same time.  She is going to do amazing things one day!
