He FINALLYdid it!!!

Well my Dad finally took the plunge, he actually retired! It has been a long time coming because all of us have been hearing that he was going to do it for years. I'm so happy for him and it is something that he deserves. He has worked so hard for so many years that it is time for him to take a break and take some time for himself. I'm so proud to call him my dad, he is has taught us all so much. He such a great example of a hard worker and taught us all growing up how important it was. Thanks for Dad for everything you have taught me. I LOVE YOU! We had a fun little party at Landon's Mom and Dad's for him. We had Prime Rib, baked potatoes, and pink lemonade pie. It was so delicious!
Everybody getting ready for dinner
Jayleigh of course had to help him!
Then Shelly, Landon and I made him this candy bar poster. I think that it turned out really cute.
On Sunday we BBQ'd hamburgers outside and it was such a nice day we ate outside. It was so nice to be able to outside. Well Landon was eating Reese's Klondike bar and Jayleigh thought it looked good as well. Landon couldn't eat it all so he gave the other half to her. Here is the end result.
See how happy it made her? Priceless, even if it was REALLY messy!
Call me weird but I love this picture. Just look at those filthy little chubby fingers.

Madalynn's Baptism

Well we had quite the weekend this past weekend. It all started Friday when we headed to Richfield to go to Logan's graduation from Snow College. I got off of work early so that we could be there by 1. Well I got home and we had flat tire on the car. Landon thought that maybe we could make it to the gas station to put some air in it. Well on our way to the station the tire popped off the bead. So we had to drive to Richfield on the donut. We then dropped it off at Pearson Tire and got 4 brand new tires on the car while we were at the graduation. After the graduation we went to South China and had some lunch. After lunch we were off to Tooele. We had so much fun up there. The whole reason we went up there was that it was my wonderful niece's baptism. She was lucky enough to be able to be baptized on her birthday. She looked so pretty and we are so proud of her decision to be baptized. We love her so much and can't believe that she is already 8! On Saturday night we had tickets to go to the supercross. That was pretty awesome to watch even though it rained the whole time. Luckily Landon's mom had brought some ponchos. Although it was cold and rainy we had a lot of fun. Thank you so much Shelly for getting us tickets! I was so mad I left my camera and didn't get any pictures which probably isn't a bad thing so that it didn't get wet! Anyway here are some pictures of the weekend.
We had a pool at the motel that we stayed at. Jayleigh loved the water! I have to thank Lyndsay and Dustyn for the swimming suit they gave her for her birthday. It looks so cute on her!!
