We Thank Thee Oh God For a Prophet

President Gordon B. Hinckley June 23, 1910-January 27, 2008
You were generals in the War in Heaven and one day when you are in the spirit world, you will be enthralled by those you are associated with. You will ask someone in which time period they lived and you might hear, "I was with Moses when he parted the Red Sea," or "I helped build the pyramids'" or "I fought with Captain Moroni." And as you are standing there in amazement, someone will turn to you and ask you which of the prophets' time did you live in? And when you say "Gordon B. Hinckley" a hush will fall over every hall and corridor in Heaven, and all in attendance will bow at your presence. You were held back six thousand years because you were the most talented, most obedient, most courageous, and most righteous. Elder Boyd K. Packer
I just want to express my gratitude to President Hinckley and am truly saddened by his passing. He was a great, great man. A man full of faith and obedience to Father in Heaven and a very loving man to everyone around him. We can all learn so much still from him and the great legacy he left behind. I loved him so much and I am so grateful that I was able to have him as our prophet for so many wonderful years. If we can all live up to the half of the person that he was we have done something great in our lives.

Look at my baby!!!!

Well on saturday morning we went to Ace Hardware in Cedar and bought me a brand new 22 gun. It is so cute....it's pink!!!! I just finished up my hunters safety course and I was teasing Landon that this was my graduation present for getting my blue card. So we took it up to Manti and Elisnore this weekend and tried it out and let everybody take a turn at shooting at it. It shoots really well and I think that it was a great investment. We also put me in for the hunts for the first time, I put in for the muzzleloader, the rifle, and for the big bull. :) Jerry told me if I drew out and shot and deer I had to gut it but he would gut my elk. I can't even gut a fish so I will shoot it and the men can take care of the details!!!!
Here is my dad shooting it
Isn't it so cute! Here is Lyndsay with her 22. Landon, Lyndsay, Logan, Jerry and I all went out to shoot. It was so much fun! Me and my dad!

JUST KIDDING!!

Sorry everybody Landon thought that it would be funny to post that last blog since he was sick and tired of reminding me to update it. Things have just been so busy around here. For those of you who don't know after Thanksgiving I got a new job at a State Farm office down here in Cedar. I am just like a receptionist now but I am going to get my license to sell auto, home, health, and life insurance. Its going to take some time to get those but I am going to be working on it. I love my new job and it is SO nice to be able to be home at night with Landon and have me fixing dinner for a change since he works so hard everyday. Well I hope that everybody had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. For New Years Eve we went down to St. George to the First Night event that they had down there. We went with Landon's cousin Jessica and her boyfriend John and Jessica's sister Hayley. It was fun to be with friends and family but the only fun thing to do in St. George was watch the fireworks and they had big screen set up that we watched kids play Guitar Hero. Some of those kids were amazing and I don't know how they got their fingers to move that fast!!!! For Christmas we were up to Landon's moms and dads Friday to Monday and then we spent Christmas Eve night and Christmas up to my parents. We had a blast and it was so much fun to watch the kids (Madalynn, Audrey, Thomas, and Cody) open their presents. There was so much going on I couldn't get a really good picture but below are some of the pictures that I did capture. And Shelly just to you know the girls LOVED their quilts!!!!
This was our tree that we had in our apartment. It was my first real one and I loved it!!!
Every year on Christmas Eve the kids get PJ's for Christmas. EVERYBODY got a pair this year expect Dad who was a party pooper! This is the boys in their sexy duds!!

Here are the girls!

Can you believe it? Landon took a picture with me!

I couldn't get a picture of the girls, they were to excited to sit still, but Thomas was posing in his Thomas the Train PJ's so I just had to take his picture! We had such a good time with all of our family members, and no we are not done doing our blog (that's the last time I let Landon update!!!!) I promise that I will get better I just need to remember to do it and take pictures of the fun things we do!! We love you all!!!

It has been fun!

So everybody has been asking us when we were going to update our blog. Well here it is. We just dont have the time to keep it updated anymore so we are done with the blog. This is the last entry we are going to be doing. It has been fun sharing the memories. I wish we just had the time to do more of it. Anyways love you all. Take care.
