Big Lake Fishing

At the beginning of the summer we went fishing up to Big Lake.  That was pretty much our only fishing trip we had this year.  We did go up one night with Derrick and Monique to Fish Lake and cooked some hot dogs and had fun, but of course I don't have any pictures of that trip.  Anyway, on our trip to Big Lake Jayleigh caught her first fish on her own pole.  She was pretty proud of herself.  She was holding onto the pole when the fish decided to take the bait.  It scared her at first when she felt the pole jump.  She would not hold the fish and we had to bribe her in order to get a picture of her with it and Landon holding it.  It was so much fun.  I love spending time up the mountains with the family.  We are going to go camping for Labor Day and I'm pretty excited.  We haven't gone camping at all this summer so it will be fun!

Bowling Hall of Fame

Grannie was inducted into the local bowling hall of fame in Ephraim on July 30th. She bowled at that bowling alley for a long time. It was so much fun to be able to be there and support her. When I was in college I bowled in a league with my mom and I was lucky enough to inherit Grannies bowling ball and shoes. That is something I will cherish forever.

Our Home

May 8th was day that we waited for, for a long time!  We finally closed on our home.  I haven't posted any pictures yet because I am a slacker but I'm correcting that right now!!  We absolutely love our home and couldn't be happier with life right now.  The house is just perfect for us and we feel so blessed.  Jayleigh loves her new room and especially her new toy room.  We have done quite a bit of work to the home.  We repainted every room in the house expect for the downstairs bathroom and one bedroom that we don't have done yet, but we are going to get to it. We liked the colors they had the majority of the house so our colors are pretty much the same just a new fresh coat! :) Landon has spent a lot of time outside and has made it look great.  We are loving be able to make it our own.

 This room is the guest bedroom but we haven't conquered this room yet.  The next two pictures are of the downstairs bathroom and the storage room.  We didn't paint those two rooms.  

Viva Las Vegas

On May 11-13th Landon I went to Las Vegas with our good friends, Derrick and Monique Moore.  we stayed at the Silverton and had so much fun.  We went down for mine and Landon's 5 year anniversary.  It was so much fun and just what we needed with just closing on the house and all the stress that comes along with that.  While we were there we visited Madame Tussuad's wax museum in the Venetian.  I had always wanted to do that and it was so much fun to finally go.  Those are really the only pictures I took of our trip.  Thanks so much for going with us Derrick and Monique, we had a blast and we can't wait for our next trip that we all go on!!!
