Our Busy, Busy, Thanksgiving Weekend!!!!!

Well this weekend was very, very, busy but it was a lot of fun at the same time!!! Landon and I left Cedar City on Thursday morning because I had to work Wednesday night till 9:30. We went to Landons parent's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Shelly made a wonderful dinner and there was only Shelly, Jerry, Logan, Landon, Grandma Brown, and I there to enjoy it. After dinner we played Guitar Hero because Landon and I bought it for our Wii and we took up there this weekend. We had a lot of fun there and it was nice to be with our family that we are away from. Later that night Landon dropped me off in Salina and my mom and Amanda came and picked me up so we could go shopping the next morning. On Friday (Black Friday) my mom, Amanda, Cody and I left Manti at 2:30 a.m. and went shopping up in Provo. It was a lot of fun! We got back at 8:30 and then I had to get ready and then my mom, dad, Cashelle, A.J., and I went to the temple to see Candalyn and Drew get sealed. It was a wonderful sealing and I am so happy for those two!! Landon then came up and we went to the luncheon and then we went back to my mom and dads house. At 5:30 I had to head over to Ephraim and went to Candalyns reception since I was sitting at the book. Everybody else went to the light parade in Manti and then they all came over and went to the reception. Landon and I that night stayed in a hotel room in Ephraim just because my moms house was crammed full! Then Saturday we went to the Duncan Christmas party. That was a lot of fun. We also went up 6 mile canyon later that night and got Chris and Amanda a Christmas tree. Then we went back to down to Landon's mom and dads for the night. On Sunday we didn't got to Cody's blessing because we had a homecoming for Landon's friend that came home from his mission. That was our busy weekend we had a lot of fun and would do it all over again. It was so good to see everybody hope to see you all again real soon!!!
Here we are getting ready to go shopping!! I love that day to go shopping even though it is hectic but it is more fun to go watch people then to shop yourself!
Here is the happy Newlywed couple! They look so cute together! Here is Candalyn and her nephews, Mason (right) and Kyler (left). They were in charge of the presents and they did a great job. Candalyn looked beautiful!!!

Our Weekend

This weekend we stayed home in Cedar City and we had fun. On Saturday we had Cody for the first part of the day while Chris and Amanda went down to St. George. He is getting so big and is such a cute little boy. But I still don't think Landon and I are ready for one just yet. On Sunday we were sitting at our house being bored so we decided to take a drive up to Brian Head resort. They were hoping to open the ski runs on Thanksgiving weekend but as you can see by the pictures of zero snow, they had to postpone the opening date. We had a lot of fun looking at all the cabins and dreaming of what it would be like to have one. We found one that was for sale that was $2.5 Million and we decided that both sides of our family could go in on it. We figured out that each person would have to come up with about $200,000. We were just kidding but that would be fun to have one! While we were up there we also looked at the work that Landon did about a month ago. He did some dirt work for a new subdivision that was going up there and he did a good job.
On the way home we went down Cedar Mountain and we found this lookout point. It was really pretty so I wanted to take some pictures. The wind chill was so cold but we got some beautiful pictures. I want to take my mom up there because it is this drop off and I know she would freak out but there is a railing and it is an amazing view!
Well that was our weekend in review and we had a lot of fun but we are excited to come home this weekend for Thanksgiving and see all of our family!!! See ya'll soon!!!

Same ole', Same ole', nothing new

Well I'm sorry that we haven't updated for quite a long time!! We haven't been doing good at this at all lately! Nothing else has been going on expect Landon went hunting with his dad, brother, and uncles in October. Then last weekend, the 3rd and 4th I went to Manti and did a bowling tournament with my mom. It was a lot of fun even though we didn't do so great. We bowled singles and doubles on saturday (6 games in a row) and then we bowled teams on Sunday (3 games). It was a lot of fun but now I am really sore because I haven't bowled in about 6 months. Well I guess that is all that has been happening but I promise we will get some new pictures on here soon! Hope that everything is going good for everybody!

Rained Out!

This weekend Landon, Logan (Landons brother), Lyndsay (Landons sister), Landons mom and dad (Jerry and Shelly), and I went to the Sand Dunes. When we got there only got to go on one ride. The rest of the time we sat inside an enclosed trailer where we had some lunch and visited with some of Landons relatives and some friends. Even though the rain kept us off the dunes, we had a lot of fun!!! This is Landon getting ready to go to the sand dunes. Do you like his bandana? This is everybody sitting at Sand Mountain watching everybody go up it. Its fun to sit there and watch everybody ride up it, and Landons brother Logan is who we kept our eye on.

On the way back to where everybody else was camping one of the friends that went with got a flat tire on his buggy. We had to send some help back to camp to grab some equipment to fix the problem.

This is Vicki (Shellys cousin) up on one of the hills up above where the buggy was broke down. She was directing traffic and she about got ran over by a four wheeler.

Me and Landons sister Lyndsay. This is when it starting really raining and when it got really cold!!!

Landons Sand Dune Trip

On Sunday, September 2 Landon, his dad and uncle and a bunch of his cousins and some family friends were out to the Sand Dunes. He had a lot of fun and took some good pictures so he wanted to share them with everyone. He was so tired we didn't get home from the races the night before till about 2 a.m. and then he woke up at 6:30 to leave. I am glad he had fun and by the way it was his birthday on September 3rd he is the big 21!

Off to the races!!!

On saturday the first of September Landon, his sister Lyndsay and I all went to the races in Salt Lake to Rocky Mountain Raceway. We had a lot of fun other than we were all dying in the heat when we first got there!! On the way up we stopped to eat at Ruby River Steakhouse and Lyndsay and I ordered a sirlon steak. Well when they brought out the steak the brought us a New York steak, which was fine with us because that steak was about $3.oo more than the one that we ordered and we ordered it medium. Well when they brought out Lyndsays it was really rare. So they cooked it again and our waitress came out and told her that the manager wanted to buy her lunch since they screwed up her ordered twice! So Lyndsay got about a $15.00 meal for free. It was pretty awesome. Then we headed up to the races. We got there in time to watch the Ford Focus Midigts and the Sprint cars qualify. Wouldn't you know it the first cars out around the second turn there was a wreck, but everybody was just fine. So we watched the focus midgits and the sprint cars run. Then they had figure 8 races where cars race in a figure eight. At some points it gets pretting scary and they look like the are going to wreck into each other all the time! Then the last race of the night was the trains. They have three cars hooked together and the first car does the steering and then no one is in the middle car and the back car has the brakes. That is my favorite part of the races. They are so much fun!

Weekend: Babysitting Dogs, Nephi Derby, another 4-wheeler Ride

Well this weekend we had a lot going on. We left Cedar City friday night at midnight because that is when I got off work so we just decided to leave then. Then on Saturday Landons mom and dad went on a poker run that they put on in Manti so we took the dogs for the day so they didn't have to sit in the hot trailer. Then later that night we went to the Nephi Derby and they had a pre-show with Charley Jenkins. He is a country singer that is just starting out. The derby was fun although there could have been some better hits. Then on Sunday Landons mom and dad and all their friends that went on the poker run wanted to go on another ride so my dad took them on another ride. It was a lot of fun there was some scary places that I didn't think that all of them could make it through but everybody survived. In one place Mom actually fell off of her 4-wheeler this time. It was scary at the time but now it is funny to think about it. After she fell off Landon and I were teasing her that it's pretty sad when she falls off the 4-wheeler and Lucky the dog can stay on the whole time. So all in all we had a really great weekend. Its fun to go with both of our families and do stuff.

Our little apartment

Well I thought that I would share with all of you who hasn't seen our apartment what it looks like. So I hope that these pictures turn out all right. We really like it here and it is just the right size. So we hope that you can all come and see it. The first picture is our living room when you walk in the front door. The second picture is our bedroom. The third picture is our kitchen of course and then our washer and dryer. That plant is the one that Grandma gave me from Grandpas funeral and then the last picture is just some of my favorite decorations. So here is our apartment.

Four Wheeling in Manti Canyon

On July 28 we went four wheeling up Manti Canyon with my mom and dad and Landons mom and dad, Landons aunt Tanya and her two boys. We went up the Panton Trail and we were up the canyon almost all day. It was a lot of fun and I am so glad that we went on that ride. Lucky even went with us and rode with my dad the whole way. She only fell off a couple of times and had a lot of fun. Mom also fell off of her four wheeler while on the ride. Landon and I came around the corner and there was my mom stuck in a big mud hole and one foot was in the mud and she only had 2 wheels on the ground. Landon had to help her because dad was laughing so hard. It was a really fun trip though and we are so glad we can do those things with our families.
