Just A Few Pictures

Here is just a few pictures of little Jayleigh. I am doing this just for you Cashelle. Sorry they are out of order I am not a blogger. This is a picture of her when she came rolling in the room today in the plastic tub thing they are in.
Well she wasnt the biggest baby in the world for being a week over.
This is about 2 minutes after she was born, They are just getting her all cleaned up. As you can see she was totally awake for the whole thing.
Getting all the stuff out of her throat and nose so she can breath better.
Look at all that hair. I never thought we would have a kid with so much hair.
Jayleigh and her mommy.
Wow i am tired.
Smile for the camera. This is what you look like after 17 hours of labor and then having to have a c-section.
Jayleigh and Daddy. I guess thats what I am now.

She Finally Made It

Well Jayleigh Kay Twitchell finally decided she wanted to come today. After 16 and a half hours of trying anything and everything to get Lacey in labor it didnt work. She ended up goin in around 5:30 for a C-Section. At 5:57 we had her in our arms. She weighed in a 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. We are glad that it is finally over. We will have pictures to come when we can get some good ones. She had to stay in the nursery tonight with oxygen but within 24 hours she should be able to get rid of it. Anyways keep checking in for pictures.

Jayleigh Update

Well I went in for a check up today. You all know that I am due on Thursday(the 12th). Well today when I went in, I was dilated to a 1. Which is good since I haven't been dilating at all! I asked him if he would be willing to strip my membranes so that maybe we could get this moving along. He told me that he just felt more comfortable waiting and didn't want to force her. I have another appointment for next Monday if nothing has happened by then. If I'm still pregnant on the 19th then he has me scheduled to be induced. That is exactly one week past my due date. I'm trying to look at the bright side of things and not be discouraged but I'm just ready for her to be here! So I just wanted you to all know what was happening.
