We Thank Thee Oh God For a Prophet

President Gordon B. Hinckley June 23, 1910-January 27, 2008
You were generals in the War in Heaven and one day when you are in the spirit world, you will be enthralled by those you are associated with. You will ask someone in which time period they lived and you might hear, "I was with Moses when he parted the Red Sea," or "I helped build the pyramids'" or "I fought with Captain Moroni." And as you are standing there in amazement, someone will turn to you and ask you which of the prophets' time did you live in? And when you say "Gordon B. Hinckley" a hush will fall over every hall and corridor in Heaven, and all in attendance will bow at your presence. You were held back six thousand years because you were the most talented, most obedient, most courageous, and most righteous. Elder Boyd K. Packer
I just want to express my gratitude to President Hinckley and am truly saddened by his passing. He was a great, great man. A man full of faith and obedience to Father in Heaven and a very loving man to everyone around him. We can all learn so much still from him and the great legacy he left behind. I loved him so much and I am so grateful that I was able to have him as our prophet for so many wonderful years. If we can all live up to the half of the person that he was we have done something great in our lives.

Amen to that post too. I just commented on Cashelle's. I love President Hinckley so much. He was the one that rededicated the Manti Temple when I saw my Grandpa Martius in the Priesthood Room there. So he has always been EXTRA special to me. What a legacy he leaves us. I will miss hearing him speak at conference.
